How to Run a Creator Campaign on Ngaan, Step by Step
Updated November 1, 2026
A creator campaign on Ngaan has five steps: set up your business, post a gig or hire directly, pick creators, have them visit and post, then close it out. You do it all yourself in the app, with no agency, and it's free for businesses while we launch.
Step 1: Sign up and set up your business
Sign in as a business with Google or a link sent to your email, then fill in what creators will see on your business page.
- Name and type of business, like restaurant, café, bar, hotel, spa, attraction or brand.
- Address. Search for your place on Google Maps and drop the pin on your door; creators use it to find you.
- Your Instagram. It's the default @mention on every gig, and we use it to detect posts automatically.
- We serve alcohol. If ticked, creators who visit must be 20 or older, and every gig carries the alcohol advertising rules.
- About your business. Write it in Thai or English; it's translated automatically for creators who read the other language.
Then verify your business whichever way is easiest: a work email on your website's domain (instant), your place on Google Maps (Google Business), or a phone number our team calls or messages to confirm, usually within a day. Verified businesses get a badge on their page and every gig, so creators know you're real.
Clubs, bars, events and promoters need a verified phone number before posting gigs where creators come to the venue. It keeps creators safe at night. Post-only gigs work right away.
Step 2: Post a gig, or hire a creator directly
There are two ways: post a gig so creators who fit can apply, or hire directly when you already know who you want. Posting a gig takes seven short steps, about two minutes.
- Type: paid, gifted or collab. Not sure? Read gifted vs paid vs collab.
- Brief: pick a category, then tap "Use the starter brief" to begin from a ready-made brief for it, and change anything. See how to write a brief creators get.
- Compensation: a fee in baht, or what they get and roughly what it's worth. For a collab, agree who shoots, who edits and who may use the results how.
- Deliverables: post content, visit only, or visit and post. Pick the platform, format, how many, the @mention, a hashtag and how many days they have to post (7 by default), plus the switches for "Approve drafts before posting", "Ask for an ad disclosure" and "Creator can bring a +1".
- Requirements: minimum followers, platforms, niches, province, languages, posted recently, and a minimum authenticity score. There are no requirements about looks, gender or nationality: that's our rule and the law.
- Schedule: once (one date or a campaign window, with spots and an application deadline), repeats every week, or a standing offer for your roster. See recurring perks and a roster of regulars.
- Review: check the summary and publish. Your gig appears on the gigs page for creators to see.
Hiring directly: open a creator's profile from Find creators, tap "Hire directly", pick a format from their rate card, set the fee (the app shows a suggested range for their numbers), and add a brief, a visit date and a post-by date. It sends that creator a private paid offer on LINE. If you already have a gig open, tap "Invite to a gig" to send an invitation instead.
Step 3: Review applicants, accept, then chat
Applicants show up in the gig's Applicants tab, each with what you need to decide quickly:
- Four scores: authenticity, performance, activity, and reliability (whether they show up and deliver on Ngaan).
- The requirement check from when they applied: each requirement met or not, and whether it used verified numbers or ones the creator typed in ("declared, unverified").
- Their message, the fee they propose (paid gigs) and whether they're bringing a +1.
Tap a name for their full profile, like recent posts with views and median views, or select 2–4 creators in Find creators and tap Compare to see them side by side. Then Accept or Decline (declined creators are told politely, without a reason). Want verified numbers only? Turn off "Also accept declared numbers" in the gig's settings.
Once you accept, chat opens with that creator (nobody can message before that). Key moments like check-in, a draft sent, a post found or a payment marked show up in the chat automatically, and if the creator writes in the other language you can translate their messages right there.
Before accepting someone whose numbers look too good, run through how to spot fake followers. It takes a few minutes.
Step 4: Visit day, posts and drafts
- Door check-in. Staff open the Door check-in page, see today's list, then scan the creator's pass with the camera, type the code, or tap Check in. Or print the Venue QR for the door so creators scan it themselves.
- Perk given. For gifted gigs, tap it once they've had the meal, table or tickets you agreed.
- We look for the post every few hours, using your @mention, the hashtag or a link the creator sends. Once found it shows "Post found" with a link, and flags it if the ad disclosure is missing.
- Draft approval. If it's on, the creator sends a draft first and you tap "Approve" or "Ask for changes" with a note. It's on by default for paid gigs from ฿3,000.
- A story or a post we couldn't match? If you've seen it yourself, tap "Mark as delivered".
If nothing turns up 48 hours after the deadline, it's marked "Not posted by the deadline". A creator who booked and didn't come is recorded as a no-show, which hurts their reliability and lets them claim fewer perks. It works both ways: if you cancel less than 4 hours before the visit, it counts as a venue no-show on your public page.
Add door staff in Settings → Team with the "Door staff" role. They only see today's list and scan check-in QR codes; they can't read chats.
Step 5: Pay, review, and the whole timeline
For now the money doesn't go through Ngaan: you transfer it to the creator directly, then tap Mark as paid in the Accepted tab, and the creator confirms it arrived. Payments left unconfirmed for over 7 days show on your public page. Escrow is coming soon. Once the gig is done, you review each other blind; reviews publish when both are in, or after 14 days.
| When | What happens | What you do |
|---|---|---|
| Day 0 | Sign up, set up and verify | Fill in your profile, post a first gig or hire directly |
| Days 1–3 | Creators apply or answer your offer | Review applicants, accept, say hi in chat |
| Visit day | The creator comes in | Check them in, tap Perk given (gifted gigs) |
| Within 7 days of the visit | Draft (if on), then the post | Approve the draft, see the post we found |
| Week 2 | Everything's delivered | Pay, mark it paid, then review |
This timeline is an example for a visit-and-post gig with a 7-day posting window; yours runs faster or slower depending on the dates you set. Then see how to measure the results.
FAQ
›How much does it cost to run a campaign on Ngaan?
It's free for businesses while we launch. Business pricing isn't set yet, and we'll publish it on the pricing page before we charge anything. You pay creators directly and Ngaan takes nothing. See how that compares with an agency in why businesses use Ngaan.
›Do I need to verify my business before posting a gig?
Most businesses can post straight away, though a verified badge makes creators more confident. The exception is clubs, bars, events and promoters, who need a verified phone before posting gigs where creators come to the venue.
›Can I edit a gig after I've accepted creators?
You can edit the brief, but the pay, deliverables, dates, place and tags are locked, because creators booked on those terms. If something really has to change, talk to them in chat first.
›What if a creator doesn't show up or doesn't post?
It's recorded automatically as a no-show or not posted by the deadline, which lowers that creator's reliability. You can review them, and for anything else, tap "Report a problem" on the booking so our team can look into it.
