Terms of use
Last updated October 29, 2026
These terms cover your use of Ngaan as a creator or as a business. By creating an account you agree to them.
1. What Ngaan is
Ngaan is an online marketplace where content creators in Thailand find gigs and perks, and businesses find creators using metrics verified through each platform's official login.
Ngaan is operated by a Thai company that is being set up; this section will name it once it is registered.
2. Your account
You must be at least 18 years old. Give accurate details, keep one account per person, and keep your login to yourself.
If you create a business account, you confirm you are allowed to act for that business. Door staff accounts can only check guests in.
3. Verified and declared numbers
When you connect TikTok, Instagram or Lemon8, we read your public metrics and show them as verified. Numbers you type in yourself are shown as unverified and never mixed with verified ones.
Do not inflate your numbers: no bought followers, likes or views, and no engagement pods. If our checks find signs of this, we may lower your scores, hide your profile from search or suspend the account, and we will tell you why.
4. Gigs and agreements
- Businesses post gigs; creators apply or claim perks. The agreement for each gig is between the business and the creator. Ngaan is not a party to it and does not employ creators.
- Paid gigs: for now the business pays the creator directly, marks the gig as paid in Ngaan, and the creator confirms it arrived. Payments left unconfirmed for more than 7 days are counted on the business's public page. Escrow is coming later.
- Gifted gigs: the business must provide the perk as described, with its stated value. Collab gigs involve no payment; agree up front who shoots, edits and can reuse the content.
5. Showing up, posting and disclosure
- If you book a visit, come, or cancel early. No-shows are counted on your public media kit, and cancelling less than 4 hours before counts as half a no-show. Businesses that don't honour a booking are counted on their page too.
- Content you receive anything for is advertising: disclose it with #โฆษณา (or #ad). Follow the alcohol advertising rules in our alcohol page.
- Chat opens only after a gig is accepted. Be respectful; harassment, threats or pressure to do more than agreed lead to suspension. Report any safety problem from the engagement page.
6. Reviews
After a gig, both sides can leave a structured review. Reviews are double-blind: neither side sees the other's until both are in, or 14 days have passed.
Write honestly about the gig. We may reduce the weight of, or hide, reviews that look coordinated, and only the people involved in a gig can report its review.
7. Content and your profile
Creators keep the rights to their content. What a business may do with it is whatever the gig says, or what you agree in chat.
You allow Ngaan to show your public profile, verified metrics and recent posts on your media kit and in search for as long as your account is active.
8. Fees
Ngaan is free for creators, and free for businesses while we launch. We will publish any pricing on the pricing page before we charge anything.
9. Suspension and closing your account
We may suspend accounts that break these terms or the law, or that put other people at risk. You can close your account at any time from settings; see the privacy policy for what gets deleted.
10. Liability
We work hard to keep numbers accurate and the service running, but platforms change and errors happen. To the extent Thai law allows, Ngaan is not liable for losses from gigs between creators and businesses, or from data provided by the platforms.
11. Law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. If we make important changes, we'll tell you in the app or on LINE before they take effect.
