Hiring Creators Through a Platform: Why Use Ngaan

Updated November 1, 2026

On Ngaan you pick creators yourself, using numbers pulled from the platforms instead of screenshots, you see who actually came and who actually posted, and you run everything in one place, from posting a gig to reviews, without an agency.

Verified numbers instead of screenshots

An insights screenshot can be edited in minutes. On Ngaan, numbers for creators who connected their accounts come straight from the platform and refresh daily. Numbers a creator typed in show in grey, always marked unverified, and never mixed with the rest.

  • Authenticity: how real the audience looks, from signs of bought numbers like views against followers and followers jumping in a day.
  • Performance: how well posts do for the account's size, so a nano creator with high engagement isn't buried under a big account.
  • Activity: how regularly they post. Anyone with no posts for 60 days is hidden from search.
  • Reliability: whether they show up and deliver on Ngaan, counted only from real gigs on Ngaan.

Every score is out of 100 and says what cost points. More on how numbers get verified in how to spot fake followers.

You choose, no agency needed

Ngaan is self-service: you pick the creators, you agree terms with them, and there's no middleman adding a fee. What helps you choose quickly:

  • Filters: niche, province, languages, size (nano, micro), posted recently, minimum authenticity, and what kind of deal they're open to.
  • Compare: pick 2–4 creators and see median views, engagement rate, scores, rate cards and no-shows side by side.
  • Lots of small local creators, which suits places that want customers from the neighbourhood. See why many small creators beat one big one.
  • Standing perks: regulars claim a table or a meal themselves every week. See recurring perks and a roster of regulars.

There are no filters for looks, gender or nationality, by law and by design. Open a profile to see their real posts and choose yourself.

Know who actually came and who posted

  • QR check-in at the door. Anyone who booked and didn't come is recorded as a no-show and can claim fewer perks.
  • Automatic post detection from your @mention, hashtag or a link, with the post linked on the gig.
  • Ad disclosure check. If a post has no #โฆษณา or #ad, we flag it so you can ask the creator to add it.
  • A weekly board on your dashboard shows on one page who's coming, who came, who posted and who didn't show.

Reliability is tracked both ways. Your public page shows your rating from creators, completed collaborations, unconfirmed payments and venue no-shows, such as a perk not given as agreed. Businesses that keep their word build a record creators can see, and good creators want to apply. Reviews are blind until both sides submit, so nobody reviews to please the other.

Thai or English, with the legal rules built in

Ngaan works in Thai and English. Gig briefs, your business description and chat messages can be translated into the other language with a tap, which helps if the owner or manager doesn't read Thai, or you want creators who make English content.

  • Alcohol advertising rules: venues that serve alcohol confirm on every gig that content shows no alcohol brand names or logos, we check creators are 20 or older when they apply, and there's no category for alcohol brands. See our alcohol advertising rules.
  • Ad disclosure: every gig starts with the ad-disclosure switch on.
  • PDPA: we store creators' numbers only with their consent, and never show birth dates or identity details on public pages.
  • Safety at night: clubs, bars, events and promoters need a verified phone before posting visit gigs, and creators can bring a +1 by default.

To be fair, an agency still makes sense when you have a big budget and want someone to run the whole campaign, from concept and production to paid ads. Facebook groups and DMs cost nothing, but you rely on screenshots, chase everything yourself and have no record of who flaked before. Ngaan sits in between: you still choose, but with real numbers and tools that do the tracking.

What Ngaan doesn't do yet: the money doesn't go through us. You pay creators directly and mark it paid, and escrow is coming soon. Business pricing isn't set either; we'll publish it on the pricing page before we charge anything.

FAQ

›What's the difference between a platform and an agency for hiring creators?

An agency picks creators and runs the campaign for you, for a fee. On a platform like Ngaan you choose yourself from verified numbers, and talk to and pay creators directly. It suits businesses that want control and to spend the budget on creators. See running a campaign on Ngaan step by step.

›Where can I find influencers or creators to review my place?

On Ngaan you can search creators by niche, province and account size and check their numbers before hiring. Browse creators, or post a gig and let review creators (what many call influencers) who fit apply.

›Does Ngaan cost anything?

Right now it's free for creators and businesses. Business pricing isn't set yet, and we'll publish it on the pricing page before we charge anything. You pay creators directly and Ngaan takes nothing.

›What does Ngaan do if a creator doesn't show up or post?

It's recorded automatically as a no-show or not posted by the deadline. That creator's reliability drops and they can claim fewer perks. You can review them, and report a problem for our team to look into.
