How Much to Charge for a Sponsored Post in Thailand

Updated November 1, 2026

In Thailand, nano creators (under 10k) usually get ฿300–2,000 per post, or a gifted perk, and micro creators (10k–100k) around ฿2,000–15,000 per post. Where you land depends more on your views, the format and the rights a venue asks for than on your follower count.

Rough rates by account size

Treat this as a starting point, not a price list. If your views beat what's normal for your size, charge the top of the range; if you're just starting, the bottom.

Account sizeRough price per postTypical gigs
Nano 1k–10k฿300–2,000 or a gifted perkCafés, restaurants and salons in your neighbourhood
Micro 10k–100k฿2,000–15,000Product brands, hotels, attractions, events
Over 100kVaries widely, usually quoted per jobCampaigns with several pieces and usage rights

Venues look at median views more than followers. An 8k account whose videos all hit ten thousand views can usually ask for more than a 30k account getting a few hundred.

What moves the price up or down

  • Views, not followers. Venues pay for people seeing it. Median views across your last 10 posts say more than your profile number.
  • Format. A TikTok or Reel you shoot, edit and voice takes longer than a photo post or a story, so it should cost more.
  • Usage rights. If the venue wants to run your video as an ad or post it on its own account, charge extra for how long they use it.
  • Exclusivity. If you can't review a competitor for a set number of days, that's work you're turning down. Charge for it.
  • Revisions. Agree up front how many rounds of edits are included; extra rounds cost extra.
  • Rush. Posting within a day or two can carry a rush fee.
  • Travel. A shoot across town that takes your whole day isn't the same as a product delivered to your door.

Build a simple rate card

Start with one base price for the thing you do most, then price everything else against it. Venues can see the logic, which makes your price easier to accept.

How to negotiate without losing the gig

  1. Ask for the brief and budget first: how many pieces, which platforms, and by when.
  2. Answer with a package, like "1 video + 2 stories, 1 round of edits", rather than a bare number.
  3. If the budget is short, cut scope, not price. Drop the stories or the ad rights, or swap the video for a photo post, so your per-piece rate holds.
  4. Put it all in writing: pieces, post date, rounds of edits and payment date, in the same chat or gig.
  5. Send a draft on bigger jobs. On Ngaan, paid gigs from ฿3,000 usually ask for a draft before you post, which saves edits after it's live.

On Ngaan the venue marks a gig as paid and you confirm you received it. Payments a venue hasn't had confirmed show up on its public page for other creators to see.

Gifted or cash?

Gifted gigs aren't always a bad deal if you pick them well. The skill is knowing when to ask for money instead.

  • Take gifted when it's a place you'd go anyway, the perk is worth it, the ask is one post or story, and you're building a portfolio. See free perks in Bangkok.
  • Ask for cash when the venue wants usage rights, several pieces, a script, or it's a product you wouldn't want yourself.
  • A venue that keeps inviting you back is telling you your content works. Time to quote a cash price.
  • Gifted and paid posts both need an ad label. See how to disclose sponsored posts.

FAQ

›How much should I charge with 10k followers?

If your median views are close to or above your follower count, start at the low end of micro rates, around ฿2,000 per post. If your views are much lower, start from nano rates and move up.

›Do TikTok and Instagram posts pay differently?

There's no rule that one pays more. Compare your median views on each platform: wherever more people watch you, you can charge more.

›Should new creators work for free?

Gifted gigs at places you genuinely like are a fine way to build a portfolio. Don't give away extra work for free, like ad rights or several pieces, without being paid.

›Does Ngaan set my prices?

No. You set your own prices on your media kit; we only suggest a range from your verified numbers, and venues state their compensation on each gig. See open gigs.
