Creator Media Kit: What to Include and How to Make One
Updated November 1, 2026
A media kit is a one-page résumé for creators: who you are, what you make, who watches, your numbers and your rates. Venues use it to decide in seconds whether to talk to you or move on.
What a media kit is and why venues ask for one
Venues and brands get DMs from creators every day. Opening each profile and scrolling for view counts takes ages; a media kit puts everything they need in one place.
- When you pitch: put the link in a short DM instead of typing out your numbers.
- When you apply: venues can check straight away whether you fit the gig.
- In your bio link: venues that find your videos can reach you more easily.
What to put in your media kit
| Section | What goes in | Why venues care |
|---|---|---|
| Who you are | Name, photo, niche (food, beauty, travel), area or province, languages | They want an audience that matches their customers |
| Platforms and followers | TikTok, Instagram, Lemon8, with profile links | Shows where you're strongest |
| Median views and engagement | Typical views per post, not one viral video | Tells them roughly how many people will see their gig |
| Where your audience is | Followers by country or city, if you have it | A Bangkok venue wants Bangkok viewers |
| Recent work | Your last 6–12 posts, especially reviews | They want to see your style before hiring |
| Rates | Prices per format, or which kinds of gigs you take | They know instantly if the budget fits |
| Track record and reviews | Past gigs and what venues said about you | Proof you show up and deliver |
Keep it short. Most venues only look at numbers, examples and price. If those three aren't on the first screen, they often close it.
Verified numbers vs screenshots
Screenshots can be edited or out of date, and venues know it, so many no longer trust numbers in a homemade Canva kit. Numbers pulled straight from the platform and kept up to date are what set you apart.
| Screenshot / typed in | Verified on Ngaan | |
|---|---|---|
| Where numbers come from | The creator types them | Pulled from the connected account |
| How fresh | As of the screenshot | Updated automatically |
| What venues see | Grey, marked unverified | Green with a ✓ |
| Searchable | Left out of verified filters | Venues can find you |
How to verify: connect TikTok by logging in, send a code by DM to @ngaan.co for Instagram, and put a code in your bio for Lemon8. Instagram accounts verified by code show public profile numbers, without reach or audience data.

- Share the link. Your media kit lives at ngaan.co/c/yourname, and you can save it as an image or PDF.
Mistakes that make venues scroll past
- Old numbers: last year's figures or one viral video. If the live profile doesn't match, that's the end of it.
- Followers but no views: venues want to know how many people watch, not how many clicked follow.
- Too long: nobody reads a 10-page kit. One page is enough.
- No examples: venues need to see how you shoot food, rooms or talk to camera.
- No prices and no gig types: venues have to message you to ask, and many won't.
- Rounding up: 9,200 isn't 10k. If a venue checks, your credibility is gone.
A good media kit is step one. Step two is finding paid gigs, or starting with free perks in Bangkok.
FAQ
›How long should a media kit be?
One page. Venues want numbers, examples and price within seconds, and a link that opens on a phone beats a multi-page PDF.
›Can I make a media kit with few followers?
Yes. Plenty of venues like nano creators in their own neighbourhood, and verified numbers make a small account look more credible than a big one with screenshots.
›Should I put prices in my media kit?
Yes. At least say which gigs you take (paid, gifted or collab) or set a minimum fee, so venues know whether their budget fits without asking.
›Where can I make a media kit for free?
On Ngaan, for free. Connect TikTok, Instagram or Lemon8 and your numbers are verified for you. Start here.
